Prime Minister Narendra Modi has highlighted the importance of maintaining good health, saying that health is the greatest wealth in life and regular exercise plays a key role in achieving it. He also wished every citizen of the country a healthy and happy life.
Sharing a traditional Sanskrit Subhashitam, the Prime Minister underlined the value of exercise in daily life and its long-term benefits for physical and mental well-being.
The Sanskrit verse shared by the Prime Minister reads:
“व्यायामाल्लभते स्वास्थ्यं दीर्घायुष्यं बलं सुखम्।
आरोग्यं परमं भाग्यं स्वास्थ्यं सर्वार्थसाधनम्॥”
The message of the verse explains that exercise brings good health, long life, strength, and happiness. It also highlights that good health is the greatest blessing, and it helps people achieve success in all areas of life.
In a post shared on the social media platform X, the Prime Minister wrote:
“अच्छा स्वास्थ्य ही जीवन की सबसे बड़ी संपत्ति है, जिसमें व्यायाम की भूमिका बहुत महत्वपूर्ण है। मैं सभी देशवासियों के स्वस्थ और सुखी जीवन की कामना करता हूं।
व्यायामाल्लभते स्वास्थ्यं दीर्घायुष्यं बलं सुखम्।
आरोग्यं परमं भाग्यं स्वास्थ्यं सर्वार्थसाधनम्॥”
The Prime Minister’s message comes as part of a broader push to encourage citizens to adopt healthy lifestyles, regular physical activity, and overall wellness.
