Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation Shri Amit Shah conveyed his greetings to the Matua community on the occasion of Matua Dharma Mela, which commemorates the 215th birth anniversary of Purna Brahma Shree Shree Harichand Thakur.
In his message, Shri Shah described Thakur Ji as a divine figure who explored the depth of India’s spiritual wisdom and shared enduring values of devotion, equality, and ethical living. He noted that these ideals continue to guide society even today.
Expressing his wishes for the celebrations, the Home Minister said he hopes that Matua Dharma Mela 2026, being held in North 24 Parganas, West Bengal, will inspire people to strengthen their commitment to these principles.
In a post on X, Shri Amit Shah extended his heartfelt greetings to the Matua community and wished the event success while reaffirming the importance of the teachings of Shree Shree Harichand Thakur
